Charlie DeVane is the senior developer of the Audio Toolbox for MATLAB, and the creator of MATLAB Audio Plugins. He also teaches Computer Science for the Sound Recording Technology program at UMass Lowell. Charlie is a member of the executive committee of the Boston Section of the AES, and plays out occasionally on fretless bass. He is a senior member of the ACM and IEEE, and holds an MEng in Computer Science from Cornell University, a BSEE from NC State, and 12 patents.
