Ryland is an internationally touring multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, engineer and musician. When home from touring he studies recording engineering in the Digital Audio Arts program at the University of Lethbridge. In the studio, Ryland has worked with artists like Pete Thomas (Elvis Costello), Paul Rigby (Nico Case), Brad Barr (the Barr Brothers), Corb Lund, Leeroy Stagger the Junkman's Quire.
Also, have you heard of the Shaggs? They're really terrible and excellent, you'd probably like them.
