Bobby and IZ Avila, known collectively as The Avila Brothers, are highly in-demand, GRAMMY®-winning producers and songwriters in the worlds of R&B and pop. Early in their career, they worked with production legends Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis of Flyte Tyme Productions. Credits as producers, songwriters or both include Janet Jackson’s Damita Jo and 20Y.O., Anthony Hamilton’s Point of It All, Charlie Wilson’s Forever Charlie, Usher's Raymond Vs. Raymond and Confessions, Mary J. Blige’s The Breakthrough, Chaka Khan’s Funk This (which won the GRAMMY for Best R&B Album), and dozens more projects by a who’s-who of R&B and pop. They are also tech innovators, with contributions to industrial design, product development, retail engagement, product/sale strategies and more for such brands as Akai, DTS, Ultimate Ears, Best Buy Pro MI and Beats by Dre.
