Jamie is the president of Rational Acoustics, LLC – the developers of the Smaart measurement software platform. A graduate of Worcester Polytechnic Institute (BS EE) and Yale School of Drama (MFA Technical Design and Production) Jamie has been teaching and working in the field of sound system engineering, measurement and alignment for over 25 years. During his career he has worked as a product manager for SIA Software and Eastern Acoustic Works, as technical support manager and SIM instructor for Meyer Sound Laboratories, and as an independent system engineer on tour with k.d. Lang for A-1 Audio and the Dave Matthews Band for UltraSound/ProMedia. Since 1999, Jamie has been the product manager and principle instructor for the Smaart measurement platform, and since 2008, an owner and founder of Rational Acoustics, LLC.
