Jack Vad

Jack Vad has been a producer/engineer of over 200 commercial classical
audio releases for the following companies: SFS Media, BMG Classics, Nonesuch Records, New Albion Records, d'Note Records, Harmonia Mundi, Koch International, Albany, Music & Arts, Musical Heritage Society, Newport Classics, Bayer Records, CRI, Music and Arts, Centaur, Naxos, Harper-Collins, and others.

Mr. Vad is currently the San Francisco Symphony Media Producer/Chief
Engineer and is responsible for both the music content and audio presentations of all the PBS/DVD/BD series including “Keeping Score” and SACD/high-resolution audio-only productions. Mr. Vad received a Grammy for his 2012 production of the San Francisco Symphony’s performance of John Adams’ Harmonielehre and a Grammy nomination in 2014 for the production of West Side Story in the Best Musical Theatre Album category.
