Up to 6th. form at Eltham College plus Royal College of Music exams for music theory.

Employment History

After school, some office training (useful!)before joining Wallace Amplifiers and then Watkins Electric Music (WEM) in London. Became independant as a guitar teacher and professional musician before moving to Switzerland in 1972.

Dual career as musician and aspiring audio engineer and turned to pro audio in 1979 with studio design and live sound and recording.

Part of Cinac Systems SA involved with the new studios at Mosfilm, Moscow.

Started Studio Equipment in 1993, offering pro audio distribution and systems/acoustics design, together with live sound services.

Now expanding into the Home Cinema sector.

Related Experience

Still a musician and attend most pro audio conventions.

Why Am I An AES Member?

To be part of the professional audio community and facilitate the exchange of ideas and information.

Heavily involved in education with the Swiss AES and member of the Education Committee.
