EAW is looking for a Regional Field Engineer RFE for the support of the North-America sales channel. The RFE plays a key role in achieving the business objectives of the EAW brand by maintaining and building successful partnerships through technical support with dealers, production partners, consultants, and end users. We are looking for a knowledgeable professional to sustain and stimulate business growth through system design, tuning and optimization, and training.

Reporting to the North American Sales Director, the RFE position has direct customer facing responsibility for the EAW brand
Support the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) as the technical resource while building relationships with dealers, consultants and end users
Encourage the specification and use of EAW products through ethical sales practices, technical support, and drawing on past and current relationships
Support the RSM in achieving and exceeding sales quota, and assigned strategic objectives, while developing and sustaining a pipeline of new business for the EAW brand
Manage and organize the technical aspect of EAW demonstrations and trainings while presenting a professional brand image.
Maintain continuous verbal and written communications with team members including RSM and Sales Director
Support successful launches of new products and industry trade shows
Proactively assess, clarify, and validate the customer needs and report findings and feedback
Enlist the support of product managers, and other sales, marketing and management resources as needed
Coordinate company executive involvement with customer management
Update and improve on industry standards through continued professional development programs
Manage and report on assigned business and travel budget
Perform other duties as assigned
This position has a wide diversity of work situations requiring extensive travel (Mon-Friday and the occasional weekend) interfacing with the EAW team, and customer base within assigned geographic region (territory). The RFE will work to increase customer satisfaction and knowledge of the EAW brand within assigned geographic region (territory). Although there are standard techniques and standards related to the Pro Audio Industry, the RFE is expected to update and improve on these standards through continued professional development programs.
The RFE is responsible for maintaining and working within approved business and travel related budgets.
Internal and external contact will consist of a combination of personal visits to customer locations, trade shows appointments, e-mail and telephone communication. Contact will contain some discussion about confidential and sensitive matters. Cultural sensitivity will be required as the role will interface with diverse cultural, religious and political belief systems.
Ability to deliver professional presentations of EAW loudspeakers, electronics, software, and services to customers and co-workers, prospective customers and end-users within assigned geographic territory
Strong understanding of audio system design, tuning, troubleshooting, demonstrations, and training to increase sales revenue and margins within assigned geographic territory
Develop and maintain business relationships
Proficiency in current sound system tuning and design tools and software
Effective verbal communication skills, good time management skills, strong internal motivation and the desire to perform in a face-paced high pressure environment
Ability to manage and report on assigned business and travel budget
HS diploma or equivalent required, BA/BS and or equivalent industry experience
10+ years of experience in professional audio with a technical background.
50+% travel required within assigned geographic territory
Ability to work remotely and to secure an office environment
Laptop and cell phone provided for effective communication
Ability to lift up to 55lbs
