You will play a key role in supporting audio amplifiers for mobile customers, and will contribute to the entire development cycle from product definition through launch. Additionally, you will be an integral part of our product support team, interfacing directly with engineers at the world’s leading consumer electronics manufacturers.
Provide technical support for key customers and the FAE teams worldwide to win and maintain customer design wins. Examples of support include performing acoustic and electrical bench measurements, designing experiments and PCBs for investigations, and debugging customer returns
Help create high quality technical collateral for new products, including: reference designs and demonstration platforms; product data sheet and errata; application notes to provide more detail on a range of technical areas; specific technical data to support promotion of devices
Develop and deliver high quality technical training to the Cirrus FAE team
Evaluate performance of current technologies to improve drive improvements to Cirrus products
Support development teams with next generation product definitions to ensure they meet customer requirements and are easy-to-use
Travel approximately 2-3 weeks per year, both domestically and abroad, to interface directly with our customers and other Cirrus locations
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and 3+ years of experience in Applications, Systems Engineering or similar roles supporting Class-D audio amplifiers
Experience analyzing and evaluating audio products with hardware tools such as Audio Precision analyzers
Strong experience with schematic capture, layout, and PCB testing
Experience with audio analysis software, MATLAB, and/or Excel mathematical analysis
Strong ability to clearly communicate both verbally and in writing
