AES San Francisco 2012
Technical Tour TT5
Sunday, October 28, 10:00 am — 12:00 pm (Tech Tours)
TT5 - 25th Street Recording
Distinguished by a 1,400 square-foot tracking room and 17-foot-high ceilings, you may recognize 25th Street from the October 2011 cover of Mix Magazine. This new complex represents a rare example of a large-scale studio launch in our current “project studio” era. Outfitted with a massive collection of analog outboard gear and a 64-channel API Vision console, 25th Street (25thstreetrecording.com ) also boasts a number of cool (and green) aesthetic accoutrements, including floors fashioned from wood reclaimed from stadium benches. Award-winning architect/acoustician Fran Manzella of FM Design Ltd., who designed 25th Street, will participate on this tour.
This event is limited to 44 tickets.
Technical Tours are made available on a first come, first served basis to anyone with an All Access badge. Tickets can be purchased during normal registration hours at the convention center.
