AES 132nd Convention Almost Here!

AES 132nd Convention

AES 132nd Convention - AES Budapest 2012
Location: Budapest Congress & World Trade Center, Budapest, Hungary
Dates: April 26-29, 2012

Our first convention in Budapest starts this coming Thursday, April 26th! We've been continually adding details to our convention calendar including the following highlights:
Keynote will be given by John Buckman, followed by a Mixer Party that evening
Heyser Lecture will be given by Graham Blyth
• Two special presentations on Future Directions in Multichannel will happen on Friday the 27th:
     1) Recording Techniques for Auro3D
     2) Mercedes-Benz Signature Sound
     (There will be demonstrations of both of these systems at the convention.)
• An annual highlight of our European conventions is the Banquet on Saturday the 28th
• There are too many other events to list here so please check the Technical Programme for details

AES 46th Conference - Audio Forensics

The AES 46th International Conference is dedicated to exploring advances in the field of Audio Forensics by providing a platform for research related to the forensic application of speech/signal processing, acoustical analyses, audio authentication, and the examination of methodologies and best practices. A special focus will be made on the practice of audio forensics as a whole of its parts: the recording, recovery, analysis, and interpretation of audio evidence.

This is the fourth AES conference devoted to the technical developments and practical approaches developing in the field of Audio Forensics. With increasing attendance at these events this conference has become the hub for researchers and practitioners to exchange ideas and foster new approaches to address problems that are evolving every day. The conference program will include Paper presentations and discussions as well as Workshops on topics related to Forensic Audio.
