Main Conference Venue

The 2017 AES International Conference on Semantic Audio will be held at the facilities of Fraunhofer IIS. The IIS venue can host more than 100 participants, providing a large lecture room, poster areas in the foyer, additional rooms for e.g. breakout/author’s room, WIFI access and in-house catering.

Conference City

Erlangen is a city located in Middle Franconia in the federal state of Bavaria, Germany. Together with the neighbor cities Nuremberg (Nürnberg) and Fürth, Erlangen constitutes an important metropolitan area within Bavaria. Erlangen has more than 100.000 inhabitants, whereas the entire metropolitan area of Nuremberg encompasses 3.500.000 inhabitants on 21.300 square kilometers.
