The AES recognizes and honors those who have made outstanding
contributions to the field of audio in engineering, technology,
service, and the arts through its Awards Program.
In 2014, Peter Mapp was presented with the
AES Bronze Medal Award in recognition of his significant and dedicated contributions to the work of the Society, including technical committees, standards activity, tutorials, British Section Committee, and conventions.
