The AES recognizes and honors those who have made outstanding
contributions to the field of audio in engineering, technology,
service, and the arts through its Awards Program.
In 2014, Subir Pramanik was presented with the
AES Distinguished Service Medal Award in recognition of his lifetime of service to the AES Danish Section, and to the wider AES Community in numerous volunteer positions and functions, including as a past President of the AES.
