The AES recognizes and honors those who have made outstanding
contributions to the field of audio in engineering, technology,
service, and the arts through its Awards Program.
In 2011, Frank Laico was presented with the
AES Honorary Membership Award in recognition for achievements in the recording arts, and in Gratitude for sharing techniques and experiences with the members of the AES Pacific Northwest Section.
