AES Fellowship Award

Rudolph Van Gelder

The AES recognizes and honors those who have made outstanding contributions to the field of audio in engineering, technology, service, and the arts through its Awards Program.

In 2009, Rudolph Van Gelder was presented with the AES Fellowship Award in recognition of his achieving exceptional quality in recorded sound and creating the legendary sound of jazz during five decades of outstanding recording.
