AES-X081: Liaison with International Organization for Standardization
(ISO) SC 43-2 WG25
Project scope: to formalize the working relationship between AESSC
SC-04-02 and ISO SC 43-2 WG25.

Status: A new proposal has been made by R. Sauro to continue to work on section 2 of AES-4id. The working group is awaiting a Project Initiation Request. Project proposal must be expected during the next 4 weeks; otherwise this project will be closed.
Liaisons:
There was a liaison between AES56-2008 and AES-5id-1997. It was intended
to close AES-5id after AES56-2008 was published as a standard. We recommend
not closing AES-5id because AES56-2008 does not cover the high resolution issues
of speaker data.
New Projects:
A new project as a continuation for standard AES56-2008 has been
proposed: Sound source modeling - Polar radiation measurements for
loudspeakers used in arrays and clusters.
An online proposal will be submitted during the next 4 weeks.
New business:
There was no new business.
The next meeting will be scheduled in conjunction with the AES 127th
Convention in N.Y. US, 2009-10.
