AES-R2-R: Review of AES-R2-2004, AES project report for articles on professional audio and for equipment specifications - Notations for expressing levels
A second edition was published in 2004. No current action is proposed.

AES6-R: Review of AES6-1982 (r2003): Method for measurement of weighted peak flutter of sound recording and reproducing equipment
A revision is in progress. A draft will be prepared by McKnight for (or preferably before) the next meeting incorporating the "two-sigma measurement" described in IEC 60386.

AES7-R: Review of AES7-2000: AES standard for the preservation and restoration of audio recording - Method of measuring recorded fluxivity of magnetic sound records at medium wavelengths
This document is due for mandatory review in 2005 and a reaffirmation is proposed. No changes are proposed.

Liaisons

It was noted that maintenance of IEC analog audio standards is now managed by J. Woodgate. No action currently required.
