He has a degree in experimental semiconductor physics from Humboldt University Berlin.
He joined Neumann in 2000 as an acoustic engineer for capsule development. Several years he was leading the development department as a director R&D.
Since 2015 he is managing the Competence Center Acoustics of the Sennheiser Professional Division.
