At the most recent American River College AES meeting, the following topics were discussed:
1) Reaching out
a) AES executive officers conversed about the importance of reaching out to all of the educational institutions in the American River Regional Section
i) Institutions in need of more direct attention include:
(1) Pinnacle College
(2) Sierra College
ii) After identifying the schools to intensively attend to this coming month, AES officers identified scheduling and transportation issues to build a solid plan of action
b) Assignment of the "Executive Committee"
i) AES will assign an executive committee to more directly handle business at ARC sister schools, SCC, Sierra, and Pinnacle
c) AES Executive officers will speak with ARC and SCC instructor Mike Crain to reach out to his electronic and MIDI music department for any collegiate interested in the benefits of AES membership.
2) Promotion
a) Every 2 weeks, AES members will begin a detailed promotional campaign regarding the "Master Sessions", and other AES-only events by:
i) Preparing an informative and eye-catching slideshow
ii) Loosely- structured dialogue
3) The Budget
a) The budget has been completed and submitted
