Dr. Wolfgang Ahnert lecture on acoustic simulation and sound system design at Brno University of Technology, Czech Republic (19th October, 2011)
The meeting was held on the occasion of the visit of Dr. Wolfgang Ahnert who gave a lecture about acoustic simulation and sound system design with following programme:
- What is state of art simulation?
- What is needed to get realistic simulation results
- Wall data including absorption and scattering
- Speaker data: Point sources, cluster and line arrays. What is doing the new GLL-Format for us?
- Basics in intelligibility calculation: reverberation, noise, masking, STI and CIS (EN 60849, EN 60286-16)
- Room and electro-acoustic Measurement issues
The lecture took two hours including discussion.
