Nathan Roemer came from Elite Audio Visual Solutions in Las Vegas to speak to our AES group about the world of AV Services. Elite specifically works with conventions and conferences at the JW Marriot in Vegas and providing all AV services which includes lighting, meeting support equipment, technical operators, design and consultation and customer service. He also told us about how several NESCom alumni work there in Vegas. He also spoke about what type of qualifications it takes to work in AV Tech as well as many reasons why people work in AV Tech all across the world.
It was great to hear about potential jobs in a different sector of the audio business than just studio work, and it was very informative, especially to the students graduating and to students that were questioning where to put the focus in their studies.
