This event featured Drum Workshop, Remo endorsee Eric Chun demonstrating various drum sounds and recording techniques used in world percussion. With an extensive collection of hand and world drums students were treated to a large overview of drum timbres and rhythmic patterns. Students and AES members left the event with a better understanding of how to approach studio drum recording.
We also held our microphone fundraiser drawing at the event. A new AES member, Josh Rivas was excited to win the Shure PG58 microphone.
