On Saturday, October 28, and Sunday, October 29, the Exhibition of Manufacturers of Musical Equipment from the National Industry, ARGENTINA GUITAR CON, took place at the Golden Center in the Parque Norte complex.
AES Argentina was present at the most significant musical event of the year, accompanying various entrepreneurs, manufacturers, and small and medium-sized enterprises from the national industry with an Institutional Stand. The President, Gustavo González, the Vice President, Christian Paladino, the Secretary, Ezequiel Kosiner Blanco, the vocal, Santiago Marranghelo, and many students from different AES student sections in Argentina participated in this stand, including Lucas Mechehem from AES-ECOS, Federico Gironelli from AES-TAMABA, Nicolás Fernández from AES-AURAL, and other students from related programs, such as students from the Superior Conservatory of Music of the City of Buenos Aires, Astor Piazzolla, and from the Production Music and Sound Creation program at the University of Palermo.
From our stand, we worked intensively on promoting AES's objectives and goals, with a particular focus on the growth of our scientific community and the importance of maintaining up-to-date and automatically renewed membership. Additionally, we promoted upcoming AES events, which range from participation in talks in the main auditorium and the specially prepared Immersive Audio Room at the CAPER SHOW 2023 exhibition, which will take place in the first days of November, to scientific outreach sessions organized by AES-ECOS, AES-TAMABA, and AES-AURAL student sections for the last weeks of November.
We also had the opportunity to engage in discussions and share experiences with entrepreneurs and studio equipment manufacturers, such as Guerrilla Audio Store and Bucci Clásicos. With them, we continue to design strategies to facilitate real contact with the industry and technical knowledge.
We remain dedicated to building bridges between the national industry, students, and the scientific dissemination of audio.
