Other business or activities at the meeting: We had a small business meeting in which we installed a new Education Committee Chair in Jelani Harris from Studio 23 in Columbia, SC. The Social Committee is looking for a new chair, and the general body is looking to develop a website. For the good of the order, our Treasurer, Scott Wynne, announced that his partner is pregnant, and he had actually planned on going on sabbatical leave prior to that. He was wondering if there were educators in the crowd who would be willing to step up and teach his classes in his absence.

Summary

This was our second major event. Everyone had a grand time. There were multiple topics that could be attended with opportunities to attend two of the four presentations that happened that day. The general mood was one of excitement. We had Grammy nominated and winning engineers to speak. Topics included
