Having fun recording sound effects for foley
Things are slowly winding down for the AES student section at Webster University. With the end of the 2022 within sight, our efforts have turned towards next year's Central Region Audio Student Summit (CRASS) and getting audio professionals from across the world together.
November began with the return of Webster AES' concert series on Friday the 4th featuring Slaazo Kidd, Tryptamind, Native State, and Saint Chuck. We also had a blast learning foley techniques and talking with Logic Systems own Troy Rolen about live audio events.
We are also delighted to welcome Nick Santangelo, Mikail Sarich, and Allan Stacy as logistics chairs, Isabella Garrett and Alijandra Trabanco as hospitality Chairs, and Rashell McDermott as transportation chair for the upcoming summit. Congratulations to all our new officers and a big thank you to all who were nominated.
As winter break approaches, we are all looking forward to a breather this December before the new year begins. Happy holidays and see you in 2023!
