On Monday, August 22, the finalists of each Category of the Student Recording Contest that takes place within the framework of AES LAC 2022 were announced.
And we managed to reach two final instances!
Brian Aras reached the Final of Category 1 "Acoustic Recording" and Mathias Vorrath reached the Final of Category 5 "Remix" for the second consecutive edition (In the 2019 edition he managed to win the Silver Medal!
The Student Section is very enthusiastic about this edition and we want to obtain two other new medals to add to those obtained (Gold-Silver-Bronze) in Category 4 Montevideo 2019, to the Silver Medal obtained in the same category in Rio 2020 and to the Silver Medals of Categories 4 and 5 of the 2021 edition of Medellín.
