On Zoom with Cyrus Burns.
This was a busy month for our chapter! March started with a presentation from Trezette Dixon, our internship coordinator, to educate us on internship opportunities in the area and how to get involved. The week after, we reviewed for midterms and shared our favorite methods of recording music. Then, Vice President for the central region of AES Bill Schulenberg came in to talk to us about AES as an organization. He discussed different audio careers, gave us lots of helpful advice, and told plenty of interesting stories about his time in the industry. Cyrus Burns finished off the month by speaking to us about GrammyU and the Recording Academy!
All the while, the officers have been hard at work finalizing details for C.R.A.S.S., which is April 1-3! We are very excited to show off our work this weekend!
