On Monday, September 27, 2021, a meeting was held by the AES Aural Acoustics and Perception department focused on the development of BAD Panels. On this occasion we had the honor of having Indio Gauvron as guest exhibitor in the design area of these panels / diffusers, we focused on defining in the first instance if the calculations we had on the size in relation to the spatial acoustics were correct, based on a binary pattern, in this aspect the ratio of absorbent material and size of the perforations is an important precedent indicated by Indio, the relationship of widths and depths is essential for efficiency and calculations on different frequencies that need to be treated, either for LEDE control rooms or for other types of rooms. The diffusion by reflection and absorption gradient is what we should focus on since according to Indio in his experience it has had very good results, under this premise we intend to achieve a solution and design for obtain optimal results without neglecting the BAD model but from the point of view mentioned above.
