Other business or activities at the meeting:Discussed rides & sleeping arrangements for then-upcoming AES convention, creating an academic excuse letter for students, and the Syracuse University music industry/ audio arts alumni dinner hosted during the convention.
Picked dates and planned for our campus studio tutorial (Oct. 30 @ 3:30 pm). With many new upgrades at our campus studio, I spent a few hours with other students walking through the new equipment, patchbay concepts, mic techniques & choices, and mixing techniques.
Discussed further details & planning for the Syracuse recording comeptition (including time limit of 2-5min, $5 entry fee,1 song per submission, having one head engineer per submission, and creating a sectional google account for submissions).
