The event took place in Calderon de la Barca theater at USFQ and was addressed by alumni and current teacher Jorge Balladares from the USFQ College of Music.
Jorge Balladares gave a complete presentation about MIDI, covering both basic and advanced topics. As he performs live with his band, he uses MIDI to control all his pedal effects and sequences. After explaining what MIDI is, how it works and all the possibilities that MIDI offers, he gave a live demonstration of how he uses MIDI to control his pedals, the equipment needed and how to program it.
All the clinic was a conversation between Jorge and the crowd as they had many questions. After the presentation he opened up a Q & A period where he answer many questions about MIDI possibilities.
