Summary

We kicked off the meeting with a few new faces and wanted to make them feel more comfortable. We all said our names, cycles, where we're from, and what Star Wars character we would be. Jeff took us through our upcoming schedule and made sure to specify the rules for the Mojave Mic Contest. As we talked about the upcoming Tech Night we also brought up the fact that it students don't have to be office holders to present at meetings and we encouraged them to do so. We got some great ideas for future events including:
Ronnie Lee with DMI
Earthwork microphones (they can record up to 40k)
Full Well Studio tour
We also brought up the idea od students finding the engineers that worked on their our favorite albums and researching them to put together small 5 - 10 minute presentations that we can open each meeting with and possibly even finding out how to get in touch with them to see if they would like to come top CRAS and talk to the future generation of Audio Engineers.
