Eric Smith, CEO & Owner of Auralex, came to CRAS to host a seminar and speak with students about how to best treat and build rooms to get the most pure and accurate sound. He spoke about his history and how he started the company. He spoke about his company and the many projects they have worked on and are currently working on. Then he went, in depth, about the details of making the best rooms for accurate sound. He said that his job is "controlling the room and removing it from the equation as much as possible." He also went a bit into how to soundproof a room and the structure of a room. He told many stories about work he has done and places and people with whom he worked. Then he took questions. After this, he gave away some Auralex products.
