Summary

The Czech Section met for their annual general meeting, which usually takes place at the end of the year just before the Christmas frenzy. This year the meeting was held on November 28 at the Faculty of Music, Academy of Performing Arts. The technical program comprised four contributions:

Petr Novák (Czech Radio):Funny Stories from Life of a Recording Engineer
David Kurc (TU Brno): Active systems of Adjustable Room Acoustics
Jirí Schimmel (TU Brno): Audio Engineering at TU Brno
Richard Jejkal (Altei): Sony Digital Wireless Microphones

The fifth presentation had to be cancelled because of the speaker's illness and will be presented next time. The technical program together with the annual meeting took almost five hours due to discussions not only on presented topics.
