Dave Polster is a professional vinyl lacquer mastering engineer at Well Made Music in Cleveland, Ohio. Dave began a profound interest in music production and mastering from an early age, collecting vinyl records and analyzing liner notes for as long as he can remember. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Audio Production from Ohio University in 2012 and is an active member of the Audio Engineering Society.
Dave joined the Well Made team in 2014 and has since created vinyl master lacquers for over 2,500 vinyl releases for artists and labels all around the world. He has also worked on the manufacturing end of vinyl production, serving as a Quality Assurance Engineer at pressing plant Gotta Groove Records in Cleveland in 2013. Dave is also a co-founder of a mono, direct-to-lacquer recording studio entitled The Earnest Tube, which opened in Bristol, Virginia, in 2017.
