Olli Rummukainen obtained his D.Sc. degree from Aalto University, Finland, in 2016. His thesis focuses on modeling audiovisual perception in virtual environments and on quantifying quality of experience in immersive audiovisual displays. Since 2016, he has been working in the International Audio Laboratories at Fraunhofer IIS, Germany. His work focuses on developing perceptual quality evaluation methodology for VR, and on psychophysical modeling in 6 degrees-of-freedom multimodal virtual reality.
