Dr Holly Francois is a Principal Engineer at Samsung Electronics R&D Institute UK. She received her MEng and PhD from the University of Surrey and has spent the last 18 years in the communications industry; developing algorithms and working in international standardisation in ETSI, ITU-T and 3GPP. Research topics have included speech recognition, microphone arrays, speech and music enhancement, codec development, speech quality, speech synthesis and deep learning.
