Curig Huws has been a sound engineer in broadcasting and the music business for over 20 years. As a freelance dubbing mixer/editor and sound recordist Curig has worked on a host of programs in many genres from documentary, light entertainment and drama, which have aired on national British television channels like the BBC,ITV, Channel4, Channel 5 and Sky, as well as some international programs and feature films.

Whilst juggling a TV freelance career Curig also freelanced as a record producer recording, mixing and producing music, with various singles being lauded BBC Radio 1’s Hottest Record of the Week, and NME and Melody Maker Singles of the Week, along with good reviews and favourable coverage over all media.

In the last 10 years Curig has also taught sound engineering and recording at the University of South Wales, UK. Since becoming a full time member of staff he has concentrated his research on the education of sound engineering.
