Summary

For this meeting Loren Schoenberg presented recordings from the William Savory collection. During the 1930's, Savory had recorded broadcasts of live performances by some of the most honored names in jazz. Through the course of his presentation it was said that there have been nearly 1,000 discs recovered. Schoenberg also spoke extensively of the ongoing restoration process and techniques that were being incorporated. This event was moderated by AES Atlanta Treasurer, Ed Welly.
