Thorough understanding of film and audio remote recording equipment.
Knowledge of hardware and software used in a typical higher-education setting, including both Mac and Windows based systems.

Recording & Film Studio Manager

This position is responsible for coordinating film and recording studio operations, facility scheduling, and equipment distribution of all film and audio resources under direction of the Curb College including managing operational budgets, purchases, and overall maintenance of the media-oriented studio, lab, and classroom spaces in the Dining & Academic Center Building.
Supervises managers of Curb College media facilities including the Dining and Academic Center building, R.E. Mulloy Student Studios, and the 34 MSE building.


Applicants must have:

Knowledge and practical skills with all aspects of media production and facility management.
Thorough understanding of film and recording studio equipment, film and recording production procedures, and the film and music production business.
Operational knowledge of the budget management processes.
Excellent phone, written, marketing, management, and oral communication skills.
Ability to develop, manage, and provide accurate analyses of a facility operations budget.
Ability to generate strategic reports as needed.
Ability to manage personnel including both full- and part-time staff with varying levels of expertise as well as student worker staff.
Demonstrated success in a professional role in film and/or audio recording.
