The primary purpose of this workshop was to stress the single most important method of maintenance-cleanliness. There is no more effective or cost-efficient way to keep any moving mechanical recording device in proper working order than through timely cleaning based on operating hours. Maintenance specialists discussed and demonstrated proper maintenance methods.
