Talks will have a duration of 20 min + 5 min discussion. Between presentations, there are 5 min for setup and announcenment of the next speaker. The session chairs will watch the time schedule and stop presenters if necessary. Please keep that in mind when preparing your talk!
There is a presentation laptop, where you can copy your presentation to via USB stick. Alternatively, you can connect your own laptops to the beamer. Please use standard presentation formats like Powerpoint or PDF only. It is recommended that you approach the session chair or the technician before each session to either copy your presentations or test your equipment. We provide power adapters for the most common countries and video adapters for Macbooks. Stereo audio playback will be available.
Invited talks will have a duration of 50 min + 5...10 min discussion. Each invited speaker will be introduced before his talk. For other details, please refer to the text above.
We have 12 poster boards available for the poster sessions. The posters can have a maximum size of 100 x 70 cm (equals DIN B1). Each presenter is expected to bring his printed poster to the conference. At the venue, we do not have the possibility to print posters. The posters will be fixed to the boards with provided adhesive strips. Presenters should set up their posters before the end of the lunch break. The posters will remain there until the end of each day. There is the possibility to have table for each poster, where presenters can show additional demos on their notebooks. We do not provide audio equipment, so in case you have audio demos, please bring your own headphones or mini-speakers.
