UPDATE — NEW CONFERENCE DATES: October 6-8, 2021

2021 AES International Conference on Automotive Audio Shifts to October 2021; Call for Contributions Opens on December 14, 2020

DETROIT, Oct 28, 2020 – In a move that will align the conference dates with the new timing of the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS), the 2021 AES International Conference on Automotive Audio originally planned for Summer 2021 will now take place October 6-8 in Detroit.

NAIAS will be open to the public October 2-9, 2021.

The AES International Conference on Automotive Audio will bring attendees from across the globe together to address "What’s Next for Automotive Audio in a Disruptive Mobility World?" Leading engineers will share their ideas around the science and practice of automotive audio, with a focus on state-of-the-art technologies, new scientific disciplines, and complimentary fields that are shaping this next new phase of the industry.

Notes Conference Chair Roger Shively, Co-founder and Principal of JJR Acoustics, “The opportunity to attend a major auto industry event like NAIAS, where both current solutions and mobility innovations of tomorrow will be unveiled and on display, is a big draw for our attendees. We look forward to seeing everyone in October.”

The Call for Contributions will re-open on December 14th, 2020. Topics and submission guidelines can be found on the AES website, along with full conference details (as they are solidified), registration information, and more.
