AES New York: Maximum Audio
The Audio Engineering Society has opened online advance registration for its 143rd International AES Convention, taking place October 18 to 21, 2017, at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City. The largest professional audio education, networking and gear exhibition of the year, this fall’s AES Convention will offer a comprehensive and expansive professional media and entertainment production program, three full days of pro audio gear exhibitions and presentations, and a world-class series of events and experiences to take attendees to the next level of audio prowess.

In addition, AES New York 2017 will be co-located with the NAB Show New York 2017. With a vision to continue to strengthen the music and pro audio industries, The National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) and The Audio Engineering Society (AES) have announced a new collaborative alliance which will integrate pro audio educational training activities related to live sound, performance audio, recording technology and other topics into The 2018 NAMM Show, January 25-28 in Anaheim, California.
As part of the integration and affiliation, AES@NAMM will establish a unique new format for this part of the Society’s West Coast presence in 2018. The organization’s technical sessions, expert speaker presentations, hands-on workshops and tutorials, as well as networking events and social opportunities will join as a segment of The NAMM Show’s robust professional development offerings for music and pro audio professionals.
