Matt Firth is a Research Technologist at BBC R&D. His work primarily focuses on developing the tools and processes necessary to create and deliver experiences using next generation audio.
His work has involved developing production tools to create live object-based audio experiences with the ORPHEUS project, tools to produce live binaural mixes of the BBC Proms, and more recently, tools to author content using the Audio Definition Model (ADM) allowing content creators to capitalise on the capabilities of this versatile audio format.
