NEW: Spotlights on Key Topics
The 122nd AES Pro Audio Expo & Convention in Vienna this year will highlight three of the most important topics in audio today: broadcasting, archiving, and live sound. This special spotlight focus will enable convention visitors to find the sessions from the Technical Program in their fields of interest.

Spotlight on Broadcasting Broadcasting
Whether the medium of choice is radio, TV, or the modern tri-media combining Internet technologies, Europa is where all the latest designs, the newest technologies, and the experts are brought together with potential clients in broadcasting. Accordingly, the AES will run a series on 'Broadcasting' throughout this year's convention. The series will present a wide range of events and offerings to illustrate the different perspectives of this key topic.     View Broadcasting Schedule     View Broadcasting PDF

Spotlight on Archiving and Restoration Archiving and Restoration
Converting analog to digital media is a trend seen in almost all large audio archives, from radio stations to music production companies and nationwide sound archives. To address these growing needs, the AES will offer a series on 'Archiving and Restoration' throughout this year's convention. The series presents a wide range of events and offerings to illustrate the different perspectives on this key topic.     View Archiving Schedule     View Archiving PDF

Spotlight on Live Sound Live Sound
The spotlight came about due to the success and great interest generated by the special AES activities on Live Sound and sound systems at past conventions. Presentations and live demonstrations are held in a specially equipped large hall with its own PA system, with support from exhibitors active in the different areas of the field.     View Live Sound Schedule     View Live Sound PDF
