140th Convention Program is Live
AES 140th Convention The detailed Technical Program and Special Events calendar for the 140th Convention is now live. Available both online and through the AES Events mobile app, the 140th AES Convention calendar offers complete details on Papers, Engineering Briefs, Workshops and Tutorials, Special Events, Student and Career activities, and more. In addition, information on the growing list of companies displaying the latest gear and technologies on the AES Exhibition Floor have been posted – in fact the exhibition floor space itself is almost sold out. Early registration pricing on All Access credentials and free Exhibits-Plus badges are available up until May 19.
141st Convention – Call for Papers and eBriefs
AES 141st Convention Work is well under way on the Los Angeles Convention. Plan to attend and contribute! Take a look at the Call for Papers and Engineering Briefs and submit your proposal by May 3 (papers) or August 3 (engineering briefs). Upcoming Conferences2016 International Conference on Audio for Virtual and Augmented Reality
Los Angeles, CA, USA, 30 September – October 1, 2016 The AVAR conference will run in parallel with part of the 141st Convention. Chaired by Andres Mayo and Linda Gedemer, this conference on a topic of critical importance for the industry, will gather content providers, researchers, engineers and users to explore topics such as audio capture, mixing techniques, system implementation, equipment development, and best practices. To contribute, respond with due haste to the Call for Contributions. The deadline for paper proposals is May 9, while that for tutorials and workshops is June 10.
2016 International Conference on Sound Field Control
Guildford, UK, 18–20 July, 2016 A compelling program of paper presentations, demonstrations and workshops is being assembled for the Sound Field Control conference. 35 papers have been accepted from authors worldwide, together with three keynotes and a number of confirmed sponsors. There will be a varied demonstration programme showcasing sound field control technology. It’s not too late to propose a demo, which allows you to register at the author rate when registration opens shortly. The contribution of laptop-based demos is particularly encouraged.
2016 International Conference on Headphone Technology
Aalborg, Denmark, 24–26 August, 2016 Register now for the international conference on Headphone Technology! This conference will assemble scientists, developers, and practitioners who are involved in any head-worn hearing technology, be it in theory, technical design, application or evaluation. The conference will enable an interdisciplinary dialogue across the headphone and hearing aid industries. Keynote speakers for the conference will be Veronique Larcher, Volker Hohmann, Wolfgang Klippel and Andrew Bright.
