A New Approach to Assignable Control-Surface Design

A tactile user-interface design is presented, demonstrating how a fivefold increase in ergonomic efficiency over existing designs is possible. This new design eliminates multifunction controls and does not require lengthy application-specific keyboard sequences. These improvements are entirely the result of advanced human-engineering design elements.
