A headphone hearing system reproducing natural sound image localization during headphone hearing was studied. The system was constructed which could simulate frequency response in the ear-canal entrance, characteristics of reflected sound, and change of interaural time difference due to head rotation. As a result of listening tests through the system, natural sound image was perceived on direction and distance.
