An approach to a new method for level compression of audio signals is made by computer simulation. This method employs some digital techniques for signal processing and utilizes the nature of zero-crossing point effectively. By this method, high compression of audio signals is achieved without degradation of the quality of signals. According to the results of the computer simulation, a new device is manufactured for trial.
