Abstract: For immersive sharing of a sound field between two remote sites wave field synthesis (WFS) and echo cancellation are essential. Though both technologies have been studied for more than a decade, it was not clear whether it was possible to build a real-time system for full-duplex audio communication with WFS. We show in this paper that such a system can be built.
